Setting Load Options for Holdings Data

Intro

Arc Suite supports automated loading of holdings information from one or more data source files that you deliver via secure FTP. You specify security balance, categorization and other options for the specified load profile through various settings on the “Holdings Load Profiles” page. The delivered data source file(s) will be automatically processed by the system, according to the options you’ve set.

Once inbound data has been processed, it is placed in a temporary “staging” area, where you can review information for each fund included in the load (i.e., how many balances will be imported, how many new securities are in the load, how many existing securities will have their values updated and the number of errors/warnings, if any). You can then decide to either accept or reject the pending dataload.

Arc Suite can also be configured to auto-accept dataload operations, such that no manual intervention is required whatsoever. Please talk to your Donnelley Financial Solutions liaison about specifying this option.

Results of any given dataload operation may be seen via the “Archive” page.

You can also import holdings information manually (using either one-off or predefined load profile settings) via the “Fund Holdings” page.
