Managing Security/Investment Master Records

Intro

The Security/Investment Master library holds information about holdings (i.e., the investment type and Master Identifier). Holdings information that is specific to a complex, language and account period (e.g., caption, CUSIP, description text, coupon rate, etc.) is stored in a security library.

You can add new securities to the Arc Suite database and review/edit information for existing securities on the “Security/Investment Master” page.

Tasks

Generally, securities are added to the library via the securities Dataload or Data Import process. However, there may be occasions on which a security will need to be added manually.
