Managing Document Structure Templates

Intro

Document structure templates define what sorts of items will display in your project (e.g., images, text snippets, portfolio statements, tables, etc.), and in what order.

On the “Document Structure Templates” page, you can organize project content within “chapters” and specify whether any given chapter will display just once in your output, or repeat for each fund associated with the project.

Document structure templates define what sorts of items will display in your project (e.g., images, text snippets, portfolio and financial statements, tables, charts, disclosure reports, etc.), and in what order.

Once you’ve got one or more document structures created, you can assign them to any number of project templates via the “Settings” tab of the “Project Templates” page. If a project reports for multiple cycles (i.e., Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly and or Monthly), you can create and assign a different document structure template for each of the reporting cycles, as appropriate.

Arc Suite provides a default structure template for N-MFP projects to help you get up and running with minimal effort. This template meets the basic SEC requirements for Form N-MFP submissions. You can also design custom document structures if your company chooses to add extra information or logos, etc. to the document.
